Who We Are

We are an east-central Illinois group of baptized believers seeking to follow Jesus Christ, to learn from Him, and to be guided by His authority as revealed in the New Testament.

“And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” - Colossians 1:17-18

In an effort to minimize the risk associated with COVID-19, we have made the following changes to in person services effective April 4th, 2021:

  • Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 am. This service consists of a sermon, singing, and taking the Lord's Supper.
  • The Sunday evening service has been reinstated with a few changes. We meet at 5 pm with this service consisting of a short talk followed by singing.
  • The Wednesday evening service will continue as it has been.

Face coverings are required when in the building and anyone not feeling well is asked to remain at home. Please continue to bring your own bread and juice for the Lord's Supper, however, kits are available when you walk in should anyone need them. If you wish to worship outdoors, you can sit in the parking lot and tune your radio to 88.1 FM. If you wish to stay home, we will still stream services to Zoom. Email us if you are interested in joining that. An updated schedule of in person services is below.

Sunday morning worship - 10:30 am
Sunday evening devotion - 5 pm
Wednesday evening devotion - 7 pm

Bible classes in person have not been reinstated yet, however the adult class teachers prepare lecture style recordings you can listen to on our website. The Sunday morning class can be found here at 9 am on Sunday. The topic for this class is All Things that Pertain to Life and Godliness. The Wednesday evening class can be found here at 7 pm on Wednesdays. This class is studying the book of John.

Change Shortage

There is a change shortage. It is not the result of a pandemic. It is not because of the "curse of 2020". It is not because of ploys of the government. There is a change shortage, or rather a shortage of change.
